Climate is the overall weather conditions that characterize a region or planet over longer periods of time compared to weather forecasts, usually for 30 years or more.

These conditions include temperature, precipitation, snow, wind, atmospheric pressure and humidity. Climate is influenced by many factors such as topography, vegetation, ocean, tidal presence, and air currents.

Climate change can be caused by natural phenomena such as volcanic eruptions or changes in the Earth’s position relative to the Sun, or by human activities such as greenhouse gas emissions.
