Digital sustainability refers to the responsible and sustainable use of digital technologies, in order to minimize the environmental impact and guarantee fair access to technologies for all people. This may include the energy efficiency of digital devices, the responsible use of data and resources, the creation of sustainable infrastructures for data transfer and attention to equity and inclusion issues in design and access to digital technologies.
